I want to backup c:DocumentsandSettings/profile name to retrieve saved games if the game has to be reinstalled? - retrieve my spore serial from mac

I have tried to copy my file and directory I can copy / burn once a week, but Windows will not let me. I have tried to add directly to a DVD multi-session, but part of the burn will not work because the file is in use.

I could try to use Cobian Backup to take pictures of the whole game and burn it to DVD, but it's not my preferred solution and will probably be able to adapt a game at a time in this way and some games maybe even too big to fit on a DVD installed once.

What should I do?
